NIA Recruitment 2024 Notice Out for 164 ASI, Head Constable and SI Posts, Eligibility & Qualification Details for Apply Online —

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India is recruiting for 164 posts of Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Assistant Sub-Inspector, and Head Constable on a deputation basis. Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution is eligible to apply for this post. Eligibility Criteria

1. Inspector

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: Two years of experience in handling criminal cases, intelligence work, operations, or counter-terrorism.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years as of the last date of receiving applications.
• Deputation Requirement: Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis or with five years’ service in the Level-6 pay matrix.

2. Sub-Inspector

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
• Experience: Two years of experience in criminal investigations, intelligence, operations, or counter-terrorism training.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.
• Deputation Requirement: Officers holding an analogous post or with six years of service in the Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800.

3. Assistant Sub-Inspector

• Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognized university.
• Experience: At least two years in handling criminal investigations, intelligence work, or information technology management.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.
• Deputation Requirement: Officers in the feeder category, such as Head Constables, with five years’ service in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,700).

4. Head Constable

• Educational Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
• Experience: Experience in intelligence work acquired through specialized intelligence agencies.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 56 years.
• Deputation Requirement: Officers holding an analogous post on a regular basis.
