The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) is going to take the WBPSC Clerkship Examination 2023 which is probbably to be held in July-August. According to sources, the WBPSC is considering conducting the Clerkship Examination from August 7 to August 19, with various phases.

Syllabus of Clerkship 2023
The WBPSC Clerkship 2023 syllabus includes two main parts. Part I, which is objective type, covers English, General Studies, and Arithmetic. English focuses on vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms and antonyms, and correct usage. General Studies includes current events, everyday science, problems with special reference to India, and elementary knowledge of Indian history and geography.
Arithmetic covers topics like divisibility, fractions and decimals, simplification, HCF and LCM, partnership, average, ratio and proportions, percentage, simple interest, profit & loss, time & distance, and area of rectangles and squares. Part II, which is conventional typewritten, involves English and another language, including drafting reports, condensing prose passages, and translation.
Selection Process 2024
The selection process for WBPSC Clerkship 2023 involves two main stages. Firstly, candidates must pass Part-I, which comprises answering objective-type questions. Following this, successful candidates move to Part-II, where they write conventional responses. Additionally, candidates need to demonstrate basic computer skills and typing proficiency.
