Selection Process
The selection process comprises four stages:
- Written Examination: An objective-type test covering General Hindi, General Knowledge, Numerical & Mental Ability, and Mental Aptitude/Intelligence/Reasoning.
- Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST): Verification of educational and other relevant documents, followed by measurement of height, chest (for males), and weight as per prescribed standards.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Assessment of physical endurance through activities like running.
- Medical Examination: Assessment of medical fitness as per UP Police standards.
