Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- The degree should have been obtained in the following patterns:
- 10+2+3/4/5 pattern
- 10+3+2/3 pattern (after SSLC and Diploma)
- 10+2+3 pattern (after SSLC and ITI)
- Candidates who have obtained degrees through Open Universities without the above patterns are not eligible.

Selection Process
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test: Qualifying in nature.
- Main Written Examination: Objective type questions.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): Verification of physical standards.
- Endurance Test (ET): Qualifying in nature.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 15 marks.
- Viva-Voce: 10 marks.
- Special Marks: 5 marks for NCC/NSS/Sports achievements.
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates
- Height: Minimum 170 cm.
- Chest: 81 cm (normal) with an expansion of 5 cm.
For Female Candidates
- Height: Minimum 159 cm.
