The Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme, sponsored by the West Bengal State Government. Students under this scheme get Rs. 12,000 to 96,000 Rupees per year from the Higher Education fund under the West Bengal Government (Bikash Bhaban), to continue their dream study.
Course-wise, the amount varies for each stream. In case of higher study, the amount allotted is more than other lower courses. That’s why Medical and Engineering (MBBS, Bsc Nursing, B.Tech, and Pharmacy) courses are given 60,000 Rupees per year, in comparison with other general degree courses.
