Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) or equivalent from a recognized Indian university

  • Must be registered with the Rajasthan Veterinary Council before the closing date

  • Knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and familiarity with Rajasthani culture

• Age Range (as of 1 January 2026): 20–40 years

  • SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (male): +5 years

  • All reserved women categories: +10 years

  • Widow / Divorcee women (Rajasthan domicile): No upper age limit

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

• Written Exam: Offline OMR-based test (150 MCQs, 150 marks)

  • Part A: Rajasthan General Knowledge — 40 questions (40 marks)

  • Part B: Subject‑specific veterinary science — 110 questions (110 marks)

  • Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

  • Negative Marking: –⅓ mark per incorrect answer

• Post‑Exam Stages: Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination before final merit list is published

Pay Scale & Posting

• Posts are in Pay Matrix Level 14 (Grade Pay ₹5,400)

• Approx. ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500/month during/after probation period

• Permanent positions, to be posted across rural and semi‑urban areas of Rajasthan
