Qualifications and Experience

Age Limit

  • Qualifications and experience must adhere to NMC norms.
  • The Rajasthan Medical Education Society Medical Teachers (Recruitment, Promotions and Pay) Rules, 2024 will apply.
  • Non-medical graduates can apply for up to 15% of the total posts in Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry departments only if there are no available medical teachers.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
  • The upper age limit is generally 42 years, except for posts requiring DM/MCH qualifications, where the upper age limit is 47 years.
  • Age relaxation may be available in accordance with Government of Rajasthan Rules.

Pay Salary

The pay scale for Assistant Professors typically follows the UGC guidelines. Newly appointed Assistant Professors can expect to receive a starting salary within the pay matrix of INR 57,700 to INR 1,82,400, depending on the institution’s policies.
