NIAB Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, etc.) with 2 years duration and NET/GATE qualification along with 2 years post-graduation research experience in the following relevant fields.
Experience
(i) BSL3 work experience, in vitro culture of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
(ii) Cell culture experience: handling of primary PBMC cells, mouse and human macrophage cells, and M. In vitro infection of macrophages with tuberculosis and other Mycobacterium species.
(iii) Collect ABSL3 work experience in mice and guinea pigs, vaccination, blood handling, dissection, organ harvesting, etc.
(iv) Immune assays such as ELISA, FACS/MACS, and Immunofluorescence Microscopy.
(v) Analysis of LCMS-based proteome and transcriptome data.
