The South East Central Railway (SECR), Nagpur Division, and Workshop Motibagh are inviting online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rule 1992. The application period is from April 10, 2024, to May 9, 2024. There are 861 vacancies available in Indian Railways.Applicants must be between 15 to 24 years old as of April 10, 2024, and possess a minimum of 50% marks in Matriculation or equivalent. Applicants must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, they should possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade.
Candidates must be between 15 to 24 years old as of April 10, 2024. Certain age relaxations are applicable for specific categories as per the notification.
The South East Central Railway is conducting a selection process for Act Apprentices for the upcoming year. Selection will be based on merit, with preference given to older candidates or those who passed the matriculation exam earlier in case of a tie. Selected candidates will undergo one year of training with stipend rates as per prescribed standards.

Upon successful submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INDIAN RAILWAYS- SOUTH EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY (SECR) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
