Indian Overseas Bank has invited applications for 400 Local Bank Officer posts in the Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Selected candidates will be posted in the state they apply for and will be required to serve there for the initial 12 years or until promotion to SMGS-IV, whichever is earlier.

IOB LBO Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements for applying to the Local Bank Officer post:

The selection process for IOB LBO Recruitment 2025 includes the following stages:
Online Examination (140 Questions, 200 Marks, 3 Hours)
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude – 30 Qs – 60 Marks
- General/Economy/Banking Awareness – 40 Qs – 40 Marks
- Data Analysis & Interpretation – 30 Qs – 60 Marks
- English Language – 40 Qs – 40 Marks
Language Proficiency Test (LPT) – Mandatory for candidates without prior proof of local language study.
Personal Interview – Final selection will be based on 80:20 weightage of Online Exam and Interview.
