Important Dates

• Notification Released: 25 July 2025 (Employment News)

• Application Start Date: 26 July 2025

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • ITI Certificate from NCVT-recognised institute in relevant trade (2‑year duration, except COPA, Painter, Plumber, Welder)
  • Only 2022, 2023, or 2024 ITI pass‑outs are eligible (some sources also include 2025)

• Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: UR – 27 | OBC – 30 | SC/ST – 32 | PWD – 37 (with govt‑norm relaxations

• **Other Eligibility Points**:
  • Work experience of more than one year or prior/during apprenticeship disqualifies
  • NCVT MIS Portal registration is mandatory
  • Only ITI pass certificate holders (degree/diploma holders not eligible)

Stipend & Duration

• Duration: 1 year apprenticeship under Apprentices Act, 1961

• Stipend:
  • For COPA, Painter, Plumber, Welder, CAD, Photography, etc.: ₹7,700/month
  • For other trades like Electrician, Fitter, Machinist, etc.: ₹8,050/month

• Note: No accommodation, TA/DA, or allowances are provided

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on ITI marks

2. Screening Test or Interview at CVRDE, Chennai

3. Document Verification

4. No guarantee of regular employment after completion of apprenticeship
