Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a second-class Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics from a recognized university or its equivalent.
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should be between 21 and 38 years as of January 1, 2025. There are relaxations available for certain categories:
SC/ST candidates: Up to 43 years.
OBC/MOBC candidates: Up to 41 years.
PwBD candidates: Up to 48 years.
Ex-servicemen: Age relaxation as per government rules.Other Requirements:
Domicile: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and should upload the required certificate as proof.
Ex-Servicemen: Ex-Servicemen must upload their Identity Card and Discharge Book while applying.Scale of Pay for Inspector of Statistics:
The selected candidates will receive a pay scale ranging from Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 97,000 per month, with a grade pay of Rs. 9,700. In addition, candidates will also be eligible for other allowances as per the government rules.
Selection Process
