RRB JE CBT 2 Exam Date 2025, Out Check Schedule, Syllabus & Exam Pattern – Don’t Miss This Update

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the dates for the Junior Engineer (JE) Computer-Based Test Stage 2 (CBT 2) for the year 2025. The examination is scheduled to take place on 19th and 20th March 2025. Candidates who have qualified in CBT 1 are eligible to appear for CBT 2.

  • Duration: 120 minutes (160 minutes for candidates requiring a scribe)
  • Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • General Awareness: Current affairs, Indian geography, culture, history, environmental issues, Indian polity and constitution, scientific developments, Indian economy, sports.
  • Physics & Chemistry: Topics up to the 10th standard level.
  • Basics of Computers and Applications: Computer architecture, storage devices, networking, operating systems, Microsoft Office, internet and email.
  • Basics of Environment and Pollution Control: Environmental concepts, pollution types, global warming, waste management, environmental legislation.
  • Technical Abilities: Discipline-specific topics related to the candidate’s engineering background.

The application process for RRB JE 2025 was conducted prior to CBT 1. Candidates who have successfully cleared CBT 1 are automatically eligible for CBT 2 and do not need to reapply. Admit cards for CBT 2 will be available for download 4 days before the exam date from the official RRB website.

RRB JE positions are available across various zones and divisions of Indian Railways throughout the country. Specific job locations will be assigned based on the candidate’s performance and the requirements of different railway zones.
