Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a UGC-recognized university
  • Computer certificate of a minimum 3‑month duration
  • Proficiency in Assamese
  • Valid Assam Employment Exchange registration
• Age Limits (as on 31 July 2025):
  • General (UR): 18–40 years
  • OBC/MOBC: up to 43 years
  • SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
  • PwBD: up to 50 years

Selection Process

1. Written Test (120 marks, 2 hours):
   • General English – 50
   • General Knowledge (incl. Computers) – 30
   • General Aptitude – 20
   • Assamese – 20 (qualifying; min. 8 marks)
   • Negative marking: –0.25 per wrong answer
2. Computer Skill Test (35 marks):
   • Typing Test (20) + Word & Spreadsheet (15)
   • Candidates shortlisted at a 1:5 ratio per district post ×5 from written test
3. Viva‑Voce (15 marks):
   • Candidates shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio from combined written + skill test
4. Document Verification & Medical Examination may follow final selection.

Salary & Other Details

• Pay Scale: ₹14,000–70,000 with a Grade Pay of ₹6,200 plus admissible allowances
• District-wise Vacancy Breakdown: Available across ~34 Assam districts (e.g. Bajali – 9, Kamrup (Metro) – 22, South Salmara-Mankachar – 26, etc.)
