Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a full-time degree in one of the following disciplines with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA:
- B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering)
- Integrated Dual Degree (IDD)
Acceptable specializations include:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical (Power)
- Electrical and Electronics
- Power Systems Engineering
- Power Engineering (Electrical)
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as of July 31, 2025)
- Candidates should have been born on or after August 1, 1997
Age Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PwD: 10 years over and above category relaxation
- J&K Domicile / Ex-Servicemen / Victims of riots: As per Government of India directives
GATE 2025 Requirement
Applicants must have appeared for the GATE 2025 examination in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper and possess a valid GATE 2025 score.
Pay Scale & Benefits

Selected candidates will undergo a one-year training period and, upon successful completion, will be absorbed as Assistant Managers in E2 grade.
Selection Process
The selection process comprises:
- GATE 2025 Score: Shortlisting based on the normalized marks out of 100 in the Electrical Engineering paper.
- Group Discussion (GD): Shortlisted candidates will participate in group discussions to assess communication and leadership skills.
- Personal Interview (PI): Assessment of technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability.
Final merit will be determined by combining the scores from GATE 2025, GD, and PI.
