The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), AP has released a notification for 479 positions of Professor and Associate Professor. The online application process commenced on 16.03.2024 and will continue until the deadline of 20.04.2024.

Qualification & Experience
- Professor:
- MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC – 2022.
- Minimum of 8 years of post-PG experience.
       2. Associate Professor:
- MD/MS/DNB in the relevant subject as per TEQ Regulation of NMC – 2022.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-PG experience.

Age Limit
- 69 years as of 31.03.2024.
Application Fee 2024
- application fee of Rs.1000/- to the APMSRB.
Selection Process 2024
The selection process will prioritize candidates based on their teaching experience in the relevant subject area. Preference will be given to local candidates, with consideration extended to candidates from other states if local applicants are unavailable.

- PG Degree Certificate / Super-Specialty degree certificate
- PG Degree marks memo/ Super-Specialty degree marks memo
- AP Medical Council Registration Certificate
- Teaching experience certificate
- Disability Certificate (if claiming VH/MH/HH/OH vacancy), issued by the concerned medical board or SADAREM.
- Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC or Social Status Certificate (for EWS candidates) issued by the Competent authority. If the caste certificate is not submitted, the candidate will be considered as OC.
